the WABASH GOLD EAGLE NORTH Lode Mining Claim BLM serial number MT106752235.  near Custer, in the Black Hills of South Dakota.  This is an UNpatented mining claim on federal land, you get the right to the minerals and the right to access, mine, remove them.  You do NOT get the land itself.  This claim is about 16.7 acres (see green area aerial photo overlay).  This was a rich lode claim with a surface placer, adjoining a patented mine that produced gold and silver.  During the late 1800s and early 1900s there was a very rich placer deposit extending from the northeast down and a little past this claim.  You can see some of those old workings in the photos and they are on the topos and usgs maps.  I verified the quartz lode deposit (there are large veins and pieces cropping out on the surface across the claim, with many stringers.  You can see them in some of the photos (my brother is in one of the photos pointing to a couple).  Alot more than I have pictures of.   Because the lode is valid, it also takes the right to the surface placer as well, so you get all of it. I have and will provide that legal info to the buyer.   You can still see the old placer workings! It was worked in the late 1800s and again during the depression years for the easy gold.  They didn't get it all. Several areas contain old camp or can dumps.  A lot of history here if you look in addition to the minerals.  Great dirt road access for "normal" vehicles up to the claim boundary, excellent camping on claim.  No water on the claim.  Some of the nicest quartz I have seen from the southern Black Hills area.  The claim is fully located on the ground according to state and federal laws, recorded with the county and the BLM.  It is located west/northwest of Custer.  More details can be given to interested buyers, just message me.

You can VERIFY the claim with BLM and on the BLM MLRS website.  Just go to the BLM MLRS website and in the search bar type the serial number and it will come up.  CLAIM FEES PAID THRU AUGUST 2027.  Next $200 annual BLM fee due before September 1,  2027.  You have my permission to go to the claim to inspect it prior to bidding or buying, just contact me first please.

I WILL HANDLE THE ENTIRE TRANSFER PROCESS to make sure it is done right.  Please pay within 3-4 days.  Upon receiving cleared payment, within 3 days I will have the quitclaim deed to the mining claim notarized, I will mail you a copy via USPS Certified Mail, return receipt requested (YOU WILL HAVE TO SIGN FOR THIS).  After you receive the copy and message me that it is accurate, within 3 days I will then mail the original deed to the County for recording.  After that is returned to you, I will then finalize and file the transfer with the BLM.  The whole process takes a couple weeks total.  Once full payment is made you can go out and dig anytime.  You can generally camp in the Black Hills here for up to 14 days without any problem.  If you are working or improving the claim the law allows you to stay longer, though you might want or need to file a notice of operations.  I've been prospecting and mining in the hills during the summer months since 2011 and have never had any problems.   Not too far from Custer, dirt roads that a regular passenger car can make to the claim.  Nice secluded area, known for small stringers with gold (see the USGS report: "Geology and Pegmatites of the Fourmile Quadrangle, Black Hills, South Dakota, USGS Professional Paper #297-D" by Jack Redden (1963) at page 274 "Many small quartz veins in amphibolite bodies near Warren Gulch and north of Tin Mountain contain gold." This claim is in that exact area. See also the screenshot showing the old workings circled in orange.  This could possibly be one of the original lode sources for the gold in French Creek which is a little ways away....  LOTS OF GARNETS in the area. I have found about 4 small flakes of placer gold so far, and one piece of Quartz with small gold blebs.  And lots of garnets. I sold the small chunk of quartz with gold for $500.- when gold hit its high several months ago, so the mine has already proven itself.  I know there's more in this claim but i'm gonna be working on claims in Nevada/California the next couple of years so if someone wants the claim I will sell it.  If it doesn't sell its something I'm happy to keep and work later when I'm done out west.

Aerial photo shows the claim for sale in green, adjoining patented mine in red, and an adjoining federal claim in yellow.

It has been very hard since all the Lithium exploration companies have staked up all the pegmatites and area a couple years back to get claims in this area. F3Gold is in the area to the east of this claim.  This claim is senior in rights, and has NO CONFLICTING CLAIMS.  It is the only claim covering the ground located. I am a South Dakota resident, and longtime prospector, miner, mineral collector, and researcher.  I consult on mining claims as well.  I will be happy to answer any questions.  Willing to accept reasonable offers....  Thanks for looking!
